Single "Sound of the Underground"
Bueno abro el tema, de su primer single. Aqui podeis comentar todo sobre el, la letra, lo que os gusta de la canción, el videoclip, lo referente a ventas, estilismo de las chicas en esta época, el chart run... Todo. Poco a poco, iré abriendo (o vosotros si quereis) el tema de cada uno de los singles
Salió a la venta el 16 de diciembre de 2002

Como todos sabeis, este fue su primer single, que grabaron tras ganar el concurso de Popstars: The Rivals. Se convirtieron en #1 en la primera semana de su lanzamiento, y siguieron 3 semanas más en esa posición, ganando al otro grupo ganador "One True Voice".
Con ese #1, consiguieron sus primeros records.
- Ser el primer grupo femenino en colocar su single debut al primer puesto en la primera semana.
- Ser el primer grupo femenino en colocar su single debut al primer puesto en la semana de Navidad.
- Ser el primer grupo femenino en colocar su single debut al primer puesto con poco tiempo, entre la formación del grupo y la salida del single. (22 dias)
Tuvo unas ventas totales de 560.000 copias, convirtiendose todavia, en el single más vendedor de las chicas. Esto le valió para colocarse en tan solo 2 semanas (de 2002) en el 17º single más vendido de ese año
El single también consiguió ser #1 en Irlanda, durante 3 semanas consecutivas, siendo, por ahora, el unico que tienen en dicho país.

El video fue grabado en una estación de metro abandonada de Londres "Shepherd's Bush" El dia 2 de diciembre de 2002, sólo 2 días después de formarse el grupo.

Excelente trabajo Tonio!! Tenemos que ir abriendo un post para cada single.
Esta fue la primera cancion que escuche de las chicas, y por ella creo que soy fan, me sigue gustando mucho y le hice un tributo, un wallpaper gif, ya lo puse en el general pero lo vuelvo a poner aqui

| Lo que le hicieron a Nicola en la portada de SOTU es un delito!, que horrible la maquillaron y esa cola de costado [ojos2] felizmente que aparecio solo en la portada asi y no en las presentaciones. La segunda portada me gusta mas ,todas guapas, con varios logos del nombre del grupo |

Opinen del bside del single
Como saben es un cover de East17, yo escuche la cancion anteriormente y es mil veces mejor es la que cantan las aloud, en el coro se pueden escuchar a todas

Que les parece su primer video que sacaron, a mi en especial me gusta mucho por los maquillajes cargados que usan, los vestuarios entre rosa y negro, todo enrejado y con la banda atras, muy buen video! |
