Todo empezó cuando Cheryl dijo en unas declaraciones que el nuevo sonido de las All Saints, que han vuelto al panorama musical con el sencillo 'Rock Steady', era una copia de ellas.

Hablando con Tim Kash de MTV, Melanie Blatt, una de las cuatro componentes de All Saints, ha dicho irónicamente: "Lo que Cheryl dijo es verdad, porque 'Jump For My Love' es donde queremos llegar. Sólo podemos aspirar a ser como ellas. Ojalá algún día lo consigamos. De ahora en adelante tendremos que conformarnos con copiarlas".

A su vez, Shaznay Lewis, compañera de Melanie Blatt en la banda, arremete contra las Girls Aloud en un tono más serio: "Sinceramente, son unas niñatas estúpidas, no nos importan". Y mientras Nicole Appleton aplaude a su colega, Shaz continúa: "No quiero hablar de ellas porque no las respeto. No quiero desperdiciar el tiempo de mis entrevistas hablando de ellas".

Por último, cuando se les pregunta si hay alguna similitud entre las dos bandas femeninas, Nicole afirma: "Todas tenemos vaginas. Eso es todo lo que tenemos en común".

Singer Boy George has upped the stakes in his feud with pop band Girls Aloud

George, who was attending the Q awards in London, described the all-girl act as "vile" and admitted he "can't stand them".

Girls Aloud recently mocked the singer after he was forced to sweep the roads in New York as part of his community service.

George, who won the Q Classic Song award for Karma Chameleon, described pop music in general as "formulated".

I couldn't believe it when he slagged us off at the Vodafone Live Music Awards, calling us 'nothing but a bunch of pretty girls'.

We were there be cause it was Vodafone 'Live' and we always do our shows live.

Where was Boy George when we were performing last? Oh yeah, he was picking up dog s*** off the streets of New York.

Maybe he was just jealous be cause we had better make-up than he did.

Westlife habla sobre la pelea entre Girls Aloud y All Saints

Talking to MTV UK News, Kian said, "I think Girls Aloud should shut up - that's my opinion."

"I just don't think there's any need for (bad-mouthing another band). Girls Aloud should look and learn from All Saints. They have the experience and have made amazing music," Mark added.

The battle of the girl bands was sparked earlier this month when Cheryl told us All Saints' new song 'Rock Steady' sounded like a Girls Aloud tune.

"They must have looked at what's working at the minute and thought, 'We'll go that way'," she said.

All Saints responded by saying, "They are stupid little girls and we don't really give a f**k."

Westlife's Shane went on, "People who slag you off don't go on to sell even a tenth of the albums (of the band they diss). Someone will be smiling at the end of this."

We can't wait for the ensuing chart battle: Westlife's 'The Rose', All Saints' 'Rock Steady' and Girls Aloud's 'Something Kinda Oooh' are all released next month..

El ataque comenzo por Lily Allen al decir que su favorita era Nicola porque era la fea del grupo

Fresh from their feud with All Saints, Girls Aloud have ripped into Lily Allen.

"Her first single was really good. It seemed she was really different - a female Streets, but I don't know anymore," Kimberley said. "I don't really like her as a person."

Bandmate Nicola Roberts launched her own attack, adding, "Lily was saying she liked me because I was moody and not that pretty. I really appreciated her when she first came out - she was a breath of fresh air. But now I think f*ck her."

They're not the only band who aren't happy with the outspoken popstrel either - ironically GA's old sparring partners All Saints have also waded into the Lily debate.

Melanie Blatt said of the 'Littlest Things' chanteuse, "I think she picks on the wrong people to be honest.

"I think there's a certain type of person you're allowed to pick on, but she always goes for the weak and I don't like that."

Is Mel really sticking up for Nic and could Lily really be the glue that bonds arch rivals Girls Aloud and All Saints?
