Cita: Minogue shocks with ‘bizarre’ Farm Yard Frolic

Pop starlet Kylie Minogue looks set to shock her fans once again with a bizarre new music video clip that has been described as “desperate” by one high profile music journalist.

The music video, shot in the US last month, features Minogue cavorting around a make-believe farm yard, tending to a variety of animals and frolicking atop a bale of hay.

Although the clip is not likely to see a European release, the promotional video for Minogue’s track All I See will be released to music stations across the US and Canada later this month.

Music journalist Greg Petherick described the video as “strange” and suggested Minogue may have deliberately set out to shock due to sluggish sales of her latest album X.

He said Minogue’s sexy choreography in the clip was interspersed with clips of the Aussie star milking a cow, cuddling a piglet and collecting chicken eggs whilst merrily swinging a basket.

“It really is a very bizarre video especially for someone like Kylie who just doesn’t usually go down the eccentric, abstract path,” Mr Petherick said.

“I watched it with a colleague and we were both left scratching our heads. We both couldn’t help thinking that she had just sort of lost the plot.

“Maybe it’s a ploy and she knows something we don’t about how to sell albums. But I think most people, when they see this, are just going to screw up their faces with confusion.”

Minogue is currently rehearsing for an international tour that is widely tipped to travel to the United States later this year.

Ah!, también se comenta que Speakerphone pueda ser single, porque algo ha comentado PerezHilton sobre ello. Habrá que ver si es verdad.

Que si All I See, Cosmic, solo faltan rumores de que salga Heart Beat Rock 'solo Japon' o alguna cosa asi.

Donde se quedan los grandes temas como Like A Drug o The One, para cuando?

De todas las formas, veo que todos dan como echo que este tema va a salir en Canadá como single. Pero que yo sepa no hay nada confirmado oficialmente.

Es una canción preciosa, muy novedosa para el estilo que comunmente Kylie nos muestra, pero pese a eso no la veo como single...
m hubiera gustado que fuese Speakerphone en ese caso!
Ojala que sea solo un rumor, o si lo lanza que para tercer single sea Speakerphone, the one o like a drug :grin:

Para USA puede ir bien. pero que conste que es de las que menos me gustan, prefiero incluso Speakerphone o Sensitized antes que esta.
