The Sun reports that troubled Spears has impressed her label bosses with new tracks and that they want to release a new Britney album this December.

Whitney Houston has long been working on her comeback record after her own well publicised breakdown.

She’s enlisted Will.IAm, R.Kelly and John Legend to help her get back into the charts.

But Britney could stand in her way apparently. A label source told the newspaper: “Britney has been on fire in the studio of late… she is determined to make a triumphant comeback.”

We can’t wait to see this epic battle of the divas!

In other Brit Brit news she's unexpectedly been spotted buying Radiohead's In Rainbows album. Maybe it will influence her new material.

The Toxic singer - who is currently trying to get herself back on track following her public breakdown which saw her admitted to a psychiatric hospital earlier this year - has impressed bosses with her new material and now they want her to take on equally-troubled Whitney in an end of the year album war.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for her last album Blackout she was consumed by her private life.

"But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Her bosses have been amazed by the quality of tracks they've heard. Whitney is set for another relaunch at the same time later in the year. They are determined Britney will come out on top."

Whitney - who has previously battled drink and drug addiction and recently divorced husband Bobby Brown - is set to work with some of the biggest music stars in the world on her new album.

She will collaborate with will.i.am, R. Kelly and John Legend and teams up with Akon on her next single.

Basicamente lo que dicen estos articulos y muchos otros que Britney y whitney tendran una batalla en navidad, porque ambas lanzaran sus cd's por esas fechas y que no se sabe quien ganara si el gran retorno de Whitney o el gran re-retorno de Britney. según lo que dicen estos articulos lo que ha grabado hasta ahora esta buenisimooooo y de seguro sera numero #1.

OFICIAL: Nuevo álbum de Britney esta Navidad!

Hoy fue pulicado en YouTube.com un video sobre el nuevo álbum de Britney Spears. El video es una captura (de calidad media) del programa Billboard In Sixty, que es una especia de programa online de noticias sobre el mundo de la música en apenas 60 segundos - presentado por Danielle Flora.

En el video de arriba, la presentadora comenta que la disquera Jive Records está tan entusiasmada con el regreso de Britney que espera tener el nuevo álbum finalizado a tiempo para lanzarlo esta misma Navidad!

Podemos hacernos una idea de que es oficial, muchas fuentes son las que salen y Billboard es una fuente fiable, no creo que sea un montaje el anuncio, no?

De acá a Diciembre hay un largo trecho, Scaca... Y la chica que nos deslumbró en Crossroads ha venido recuperando de a poco su cuerpito y su cabeza, ya no la vemos escandalizando tan seguido. Es más, las últimas noticias han sido buenas y positivas.
Si sigue así, quizás le vaya bien. Ojalá que sí, y que derrote a la vieja prejuiciosa y out de Whitney Houston (opinion personal).
Ahora a comernos los rumores de instrumentales falsos, fakes, etc, etc etc... Qué lindo!!

Yo creo que no puede sacar mas partido a Blackout ya..por que no le han dado promoción, y si va a sacar el nuevo ya, pues buena gana de seguir con Blackout...
Espero que sea como Blackout, por que no hay una sola canción que no merezca la pena!

PD: me encantan los títulos de sus discos...

yo creo q si, q se le puede sacar aun muxisimo partido, y sin necesidad de una reedicion!
Y bueno, para hacer mas corta la espera, parece q va a seguir sacando singles... asi q guaxi! :D
Y la noticia pues... nose, me la cojo con pinzas! todo apunta a un SI rotundo, pero...
