El pop-rock de los finlandeses Sunrise Avenue desembarca en España

Después de arrasar en Finlandia, su país natal, donde son el grupo revelación del momento, Sunrise Avenue quiere repetir éxito en España. Este cuarteto de Helsinki lanzará el próximo 12 de junio en nuestro país On the way to Wonderland (En el Camino Hacia el País de las Maravillas), su álbum de debut.

El disco está compuesto por 14 canciones de pop-rock entre las que destaca Fairytale gone bad, su single de presentación que se ha convertido en un éxito en toda Europa, donde ocupa posiciones destacadas en las listas de radio de Alemania, Austria, Suecia, Italia, Francia, Suiza, Polonia, Italia, Holanda, Grecia, y Turquía.

On the way to Wonderland trata sobre el camino de estos músicos hasta la consecución de su sueño, el momento en el que tuvieron su álbum entre las manos.

“Es un trabajo muy directo y personal y contiene las diferentes etapas de nuestro viaje hacia nuestro sueño; hay momentos de subida, otros de bajada, y algunos en los que desciendes directamente al infierno”, explica Samu Haber, vocalista del grupo.

Sunrise Avenue fue formado inicialmente por Haber y el guitarrista Janne Kärkkäinen en 2002. Años más tarde, en 2005, el bajista Raul Ruutu y el baterista Sami Osala se unieron al grupo. El productor musical Jukka Backlund los vio durante un concierto y les propuso grabar un disco sin siquiera tener un contrato o sello discográfico.

Sunrise Avenue (Avenida del amanecer) son finlandeses. En su álbum de debut On the way to wonderland (En el camino hacia el país de las maravillas), este cuarteto de Helsinki sueltan vapor como la Western Union y calientan sus feroces y apasionadas canciones de rock.

Sunrise Avenue son el grupo revelación del momento en su país: Disco de Platino, 41 semanas en la lista oficial de ventas, nº1 en Radio durante 5 semanas, Mejor Grupo Revelación en los Premis EMMA, Mejor Grupo Revelación Finlandés, Mejor Canción Finlandesa, Mejor Álbum Finlandés, en los NRJ Radio Awards.... Un sin fín de logros que han hecho que el fenómeno se exporte al resto de Europa. Fairytale gone bad su single de presentación, se ha convertido en éxito en Europa, donde ocupa las primeras posiciones en las listas de radio de: Alemania, Austria, Suecia, Italia, Francia, Suiza, Polonia, Italia, Holanda, Grecia, Turquía…. Ahora le toca el turno a España; el disco se pone a la venta en nuestro país el 12 de junio.

Me encanta "Fairytale gone bad", pensé que ya había un post sobre ellos y no me atreví a abrir otro porque luego los moderadores me riñen, jejejeje...

Este grupo ha tenido muchísimo éxito en el centro y norte de Europa. Lo que más me gusta de su single es la letra, es buenísima.

Espero que triunfen también en España.

Ahora mismo están en la lista de ventas de media Europa y cada vez son más países como Grecia, Suiza, etc. Si os gusta el single os gustará el disco.
