I had a great week, I sailed every day with 3,4 or 3,7 today I am having a resting day as the wind is not really good today. Tomorrow forecast looks better again. Hope to get some nice sessions again from tomorrow on.

Yesterday I was sailing on my 4,0 and at the beginning it was quite gusty and a bit light also. After sailing for half an hours, the wind just picked up to about a 40 knots and it took about 10 minutes to pick up that much. Today it's gonna be even more wind... I am going to school now and after at 2 o'clock I'm off to Pozo Beach for more sailing

Yesterday I took my 4,2 sail. I did not really like the session much, it was gusty and a bit to light for 4,2. I was up at mosca point for some wave riding and after I went don't to pozo for an other session. I think today its gonna be much better... lets see.

Hei!!! I am enjoing the last days of strong wind and waves without having to go to school. Forcast sais that the wind will stop next week. Havent seen Windguru saing 6 knots for Pozo in about 3 month now. This summer was pretty good actualy, learned some now moves like the goiter and one handed goiter in the wave, Pushloop Tabletop, and I have landed one Pushloop forward. So all in all I am pretty happy with all this.

Hello to all, I have to say last week was a really good one. I could sail 3,4 most of the days. I learned to land the goiter and onehanded goiter in the wave, so I am pretty staked about that. I really liked the sessions as there where plenty of ramps for jumping and also really nice waves for some Pozo waveriding. The last 2 days the wind was for 4,2 or 4,5. I decided to take two days of break, as the wind is gonna be for 3,4 again the whole week.

The double elimination went also quite well, I managed to get till the 17th. place, then Boujmaa Guillol stoped me in a really really close heat. I am back home right now. I have to say I really enjoyed the trip to El Medano, but now I am really happy to be back home at Pozo again. I also want to thank Dani Bruch for the perfect organisation, it was just great. As competition finished before, the days all the PWA crew went to the water park (Siam Park), we also had a golf tournament and we went out for dinner nearly everyday. So all in all it was just a perfect organisation by Dani.
I will go sailing now :D

Single elimination...

This time I am more hapy than I was in Pozo, I had to sail against Flo Jung, the same as in Pozo in the single elimination. This time I managed to pass. THe conditions where quite dificult. We had many sea grass in the waver and it was pretty hard to plain, as it got stuked all the time on the fins. The wind is quite lite in comparation to Pozo, I am using my 4,5 or 4,2 sail and 79 literes. In the moment I am on 17th. Place after the single elimination.

I am pretty disapointed, I did not manage to advance even one heat. In the doble elimination I had so sail against Kai Lenny, but he advanced with a pretty close desition, I won the jumps, but his waveriding was much beter than mine. I was overpowered on my 3,4 and it was imposible for me to do shakas and takas in the wave being so overpowered. I really hope to do beter now in Tenerife...

The single elimination did not went quite well for me this year. My wave riding was quite well with some backside 360 and some takas in the same wave, but I did not quite manage the jumping, as the format was 3 jumps and I only managed to land 2 because I was too overpowered on my smalest sail 3,4. But well... I am quite optimistic and motivated now for the doble elimination, I think and specialy hope I can manage to advance some heats.
Lets see how all goes.

Spanish Championships

The start of the season went quite well for me. Last weekend we had the Spanish championships in Pozo. On saturday the Juniors had to go on the water, the wind was really lite and the waves where not quite waves, but it was still ok to make some moves. On sunday the wind increased really really much and the men's where run. I became 1st. in the Juniors and 6th in the mens, so its a quite good result for me :)
Today the PWA starts, lets see how all goes.

This was yesterday, I have to say that I had a really fun time on the water with 3,4. I think it was the strongest day of the whole year till now. Looks like next week it will be the same again for some days.... lets see what happens. I will keep you updated.

Finally it seems as if the trade wind would be starting, that means that we will have wid nearly every day till september, so that means that I finaly can update my blog nearly every day again. Hello people,

sorry for not updating you for sudger long time, but the internet in Gran Canaria in the moment is pretty bad, specialy in my home, so I did not have any internet conection for a long time!!!

We had many starboard tack sessions in the south of the island, so tried to improve my sailing from the other side, but it is pretty hard to do all the things you can do from port tack on starboard tack.

So here I leave you a picture from this summer, with was shot by Dani Miquel, thank you so much for all the great pictures you took this year from me!!! I also want to thank Alfredo and Miguel for all the effort they have done for me and specially to Nayra Alonso, thanks to her I have my clothing sponsor Animal and for the end thank's very much for the big suport to Craig and Karin Gertenbach, Andreas Ernst and Raoul Joa from Fanatic and North Sails, to the whole company of Animal, Jonas from the cutre shop and to the hole team of Al 360, it is just great to be in the team of this brands.

Hei to all, this pic was taken today in Mosca Point by Dani Miquel. It was a really nice day. We had 3 till 4 meter waves in the highest sets and a 45 knots of wind. Yesterday I sailed in Arinaga, a spot where all the people learn windsurfing normaly, but yesterday, nice and very clean waves came in. That does not happen usualy, only if the swell comes from the south.

Hey hey, it is incredible how much wind we had today!! I was out on 3,0 overpowered like hell, I could not do anything. I hope that we wind goes down a litle bit at least, but it looks like if it is gonna stay like that the next days.

Hello, I am injured for the moment but I feel much better already, I made a ponsh and while the landing i overstreched my ligaments in my foot. some days ago I could not even walk, but now I am not 100% ok, but I can walk atleast :)

South wind

Hello, since last week we have south-west wind. I sailed the first 3 days in Juan Grande, 3 days in a secret spot that Moritz and me found 4 days ago and yesterday in salinas. The secret spot is really really nice when the wind comes from the right and when we have some swell, the wave is really really long. I also landed my first wave 360 from this side. Hello,
today I was at the water at 8:00. In the begining it was perfect with 4,2 and logo waves at mosca point, it was a really fun morning session. After 1 houre the wind piked up and I was completly overpowered, so I went out of the water to rig my 3,4 and I was still overpowered. It seems like it will stay like this for all the week

Yesterday I had a quite nice day. I went up to Pozo at 10:00. Moritz Mauch and me saw that there is some swell at Mosca Point(a reef 3 km upwind from Pozo) so we went up and it was not the best day of Mosca but it was fun! We stayed up about 3 houres. After we ate and sailed again, we saw waves braking in Salinas(a spot 3 km downwind from Pozo)It was good aswell, some nice sections for aereals and goiters. After we went up to Pozo again and jumped a little bit. Today mabe we have something in the evening... lets see

Hey,
we had some really really fun conditions the last 2 days. 2 days ago, I was in Vargas. It was nice and I was completly owerpowerded with my 4.0, I did not bring any smaler sail up to vargas. Then yesterday, I was out in Pozo. I did not like the morning session, but about 4 o´clock the waves picked up with the tide coming up. In the end it was a nice monday, no school, windy, wave and sunny.

we dont have wind since 2 weeks!!! It is so boring. it seems as we are going to have wind this weekend finaly. At leats I had time to study in this time without wind. Hello!!! Yesterday the wind stoped after blowing everyday for 2 and a half month.
Eduardo and me decided to SUP from Pozo till Playa del Ingles. It is exactly 18 and a half km. It was really nice to see the coast from the water, I have seen many places that I did not know that exist on Gran Canaria. We managed to do the 18,5 km in 3 houres. In the week end, we will try to go from Pozo till Faro de maspalomas, it is about 22km. Lets see

Hey, for the moment we are having fun sessions in pozo,they are not the best but I have sailed in much wors conditions. The sail I was sailing with all this days was 3,4.
Lets see how the foloving days are going to be.

New north sails Shox XTR

Hei people, northsails marketing manager Alexander Hasch and the engeneer who developed the Shox XTR are in Pozo to test it. I tested it yesterday. Its incredible, I noticed that a sailed much faster than normaly, also the hard landings of jumps are not hard anymore, its all much more smoother.

Good competition for me

Hello!!!
Yesterday we made a competition in vargas. The conditions where incredibble, 3,4 perfect powered and the sets where between logo and mast high. I managed to get into the final together with very good local riders. In the final there where Josep Pons, Jose Romero, Omar Sanchez and me. I landed a dobble forward in the final, the judges gave me 9 points for the dobble. I also landed a nice onehanded backloop, a backloop and a planing frontloop, the warerides where good aswell,I made aereals, onehanded aereals in the wave and nice cutbacks. The results are going to be said today at 3 o´clock, lets see what place I got :)

Hei people, we are having amazing conditions here!!! Sick waves and nice wind. I am learning to jump higer these days, it is nice to be higher up in the sky heheh.
