I had an abusive little session yesterday in the super strong and offshore trade winds, definitely fun but I’m feeling it today. Not every wave was a good one but there were a few little nuggets. The best wave I had was the last wave in a set that looked like it was going to be small out back but really peaked up on the reef and it was extra smooth from the waves before it. The glassiness combined with the fact that I was stacked allowed for three bucket throwing turns down the line.
Big waves on the way with the forecast calling for at least a couple of days of 12-18ft Hawaiian scale. There are several spots that could be worth checking depending on what the wind does…
Check out this article on the PWA site. There is bound to be good sailing there.
