The past three days have definitely been some of the best sailing so far this winter. The first day the swell was rising with the odd bomb set coming through but it was super smooth water and steady winds, possibly my favorite of the three days. The second day there was more frequent big sets but the water was pretty chopped up, that’s not to say that there weren’t any smooth ones but you had to pick and choose. My best wave was a massive backside ride back to the beach. Yesterday was fun as well but a bit tricky to sail with many closeout waves due to the swell direction and hardly any wind on the inside.
